Step 2 - Compare Work Experiences

Now that you've journeyed back in time to remember the jobs that you've held, compare those jobs.  Ask yourself:

  • In which job(s) was I happiest, and why?
  • In which job(s) was I most successful, and why?
  • Who was the best boss I ever had, and why?
  • Who was the worst boss I ever had, and why?
  • What significant barriers have stunted my career growth?
  • If I could start my career over again, what kinds of things would I do differently?

Even though this step can be tedious, all of these questions must be answered - take some time, think about it - then click here to move on to step 3!
